Whispering Woods will be a place where the forest becomes a living gallery. Visitors will walk along quiet paths, discovering sculptures, sounds and light installations inspired by the mythological heritage of Europe. All artworks will be created with natural materials, blending seamlessly into the landscape and promoting a sustainable way of creating and experiencing art. The restored heritage barn will host exhibitions and gatherings, while the new Creative Hall will welcome artists from across Europe. Over time, the site will grow into a living, evolving artwork — a space where nature, myth and creativity meet. It’s not here yet, but its story has already begun.

A Vision

Takes Shape

Whispering Woods will not appear overnight. Like every good legend, it will unfold in chapters — each one adding new layers to the story. The full development of the project is planned over a period of two years, with each phase shaping a different part of the experience. From building the spaces to bringing in artists and opening the forest to visitors, every step is part of a carefully crafted journey.

Chapter 1 – Laying the Ground

The story of Whispering Woods begins with creating space — both physically and creatively. A new workshop building will be constructed on an adjacent plot, designed to blend naturally into the landscape and the historic ensemble of The Oak Lodge. This will provide artists with a dedicated working environment while keeping all infrastructure and logistics outside the core area of the site. At the same time, the private forest surrounding the estate will be explored to identify the most inspiring locations for future installations and an international selection process will begin to invite artists from across Europe. 

Chapter 2 – Breathing Life into History

The first artists will move into temporary accommodations on site to work undisturbed and closely connected to the landscape when they begin creating their installations in the forest.


At the same time, the old barn will be brought back to life. 

Preserving its historic timber structure, the building will receive a new core with modern infrastructure: sanitary facilities, flexible rooms for exhibitions, small gatherings, workshops, and cultural events.

Chapter 3 – Opening the Gates

Once the first installations are in place and the barn has been revitalized, Whispering Woods will gradually open its doors to the public. The forest becomes an open gallery, inviting visitors to explore at their own pace or as part of guided experiences. Guests will have the opportunity to stay overnight or visit for day events, connecting art with nature in an authentic and accessible way. Workshops, exhibitions and performances will turn the site into a living cultural space that grows and changes throughout the seasons. This chapter marks the transition from a visionary project to a shared experience
