We are delighted to welcome you to The Oak Lodge – a unique place of nature, creativity and retreat. In order to provide full transparency and legal clarity, we kindly ask you to take note of the following information.

Overview & Definition

At The Oak Lodge, we offer a nature-based retreat experience grounded in simplicity, privacy, and authenticity. All overnight stays are provided under a registered agroturystyka (agrotourism) activity in accordance with Polish law (Art. 21(1)(43) of the Personal Income Tax Act).

This means that we host guests in our private home and outside of the commercial hospitality sector.

In other words: The Oak Lodge is not a hotel, event venue, retreat organiser, or tour operator. Our offer includes private accommodation in a peaceful countryside environment—perfect for relaxing, spending time with friends or family, or simply enjoying the surrounding landscape. It does not include travel services, guided programs, or structured activities.

Private Lodging in a Rural Setting

When you book a stay at The Oak Lodge, you are entering into a private lodging agreement under Polish agrotourism law. The rooms and common areas are made available as part of a rural hospitality model. No VAT is charged, and no additional services—such as workshops, entertainment or transport—are included.


Content on our website, such as blog articles or recommendations, is provided for general information and inspiration only. We share personal impressions, seasonal ideas and regional tips because we love the area we are living in—but these do not represent any kind of service offering or commercial program.


Activities mentioned—like hiking, relaxing by the fire, or exploring the region—are entirely self-directed and not hosted, professionaly serviced or instructed by us.

Use of the Property & Amenities

Guests are welcome to use the Lodge's outdoor areas and shared indoor spaces freely and privately. This includes meadows, forests, fireplaces, seating areas, and indoor lounges. Certain amenities such as the barbecue area, games room or hot tub zone may also be accessible upon request. These features are part of the atmosphere of the property—but they are not operated commercially, nor do they involve professional staff or structured use.

We do not run a Restaurant or wellness facility, and we do not offer packages or upgrades. Our goal is to offer space and freedom, not  moderated entertainment or product sales.

If you choose to engage third-party providers—e.g. for catering, wellness treatments or transport—these arrangements are entirely your own.

The Oak Lodge is not responsible for the content, quality or legal structure of external services. Any agreements or liabilities rest solely between you and the provider.

Groups, Events & External Programs

Group stays are welcome, whether you're a company, a circle of friends, or a private organiser. However, even in these cases, your booking remains a private lodging agreement. The Oak Lodge does not host, coordinate or organise external events or retreat programs. If a third party wishes to use the space for structured offerings—such as yoga sessions, workshops, or team-building activities—these must be arranged independently, and without involvement from us.

Should you wish to use the Lodge for special purposes—such as a wedding, film shoot or commercial retreat—this requires a separate agreement, handled individually and outside the agrotourism framework. Such uses may fall under different tax and regulatory rules and cannot take place under a standard booking.

We’re always happy to advise you on what’s possible, and how to organise your stay in a way that works for everyone. Our priority is to provide a transparent experience without hidden conditions—for you and for us.

Conclusion & Summary

By staying at The Oak Lodge, you acknowledge that your booking is for private accommodation only, under the framework of Polish agrotourism law. All additional services—if desired—must be self-organised, invoiced separately, and handled by you or third parties. 


We’re here to support you with ideas and inspiration, but we do not act as service providers beyond your stay.
