The Oak Lodge and the surrounding land has been providing food and livelihood to its residents for centuries. As a vast three-sided farm with large storage rooms and barns, it surely was one of the most efficient buildings of its time. Today, centuries after its construction, it feels as if time is flowing different here.
What once demanded productivity, has given way to a desire for slowness in nature and modern farms are out of competition. In our farming practices, we embrace a seasonal rhythm, growing various plants in small quantities and high-quality using traditional methods & knowledge.
