The Oak Lodge is not a conventional hotel or a holiday-farm but has been been a home for centuries. Today, you will find private accommodation for smaller and larger groups looking for a real getaway, whether that means a weekend of doing nothing or a few days full of activity.

Surrounded by several hectares of trees and fields, the Lodge keeps a deliberately limited number of guests on the grounds at any time. This gives you a feeling of freedom, privacy, and quiet that never feels crowded, but feels like yours.

This makes it the perfect place to discover the beauty of Lower Silesia, to spend special moments with friends, or simply to enjoy a few days in nature. Everything you might want is close by, from archery and axe throwing right outside the door to castles, hiking trails, restaurants, and a region that is only just being rediscovered.

At The Oak Lodge, there are no standard rooms, and every option has its character.

The Main Lodge

The Oak Lodge is the historic main building of the estate and is always rented exclusively with no other guests in the house. 

It's a perfect space for groups of 15-20 guests and brings together old sandstone walls and heavy timber beams with modern comfort, plenty of space, and a timeless atmosphere.

The Wild (Holiday cottage)

The Wild is a cottage in the historic barn that grew out of the farmstead itself. It's an ideal place for friends and couples looking for both adventure and rest, with space for up to 4 people.

The Nest (Holiday cottage)

The Nest is a loft of sandstone and wood for two. It offers an open loft beneath a historic timber-frame structure, with thick sandstone walls on the ground floor, a large outdoor area by the stream, and views over forest and meadows.

In addition, all accommodations can be combined to make space for larger groups when the entire grounds are used exclusively.

The Lodge is made for spending good time with family and friends, and it also offers ideal conditions for celebrations and events.

For smaller celebrations within a normal stay, the bar in the main house is yours to use. The way the buildings are set apart, together with the thick sandstone walls, and the fact that you are the only guests in the house make sure nobody is disturbed.

Outside, in the garden, at the fire pit or anywhere else on the grounds, music, loud gatherings and noisy activities are not permittet.

Larger celebrations such as weddings, birthdays or parties are welcome, but they need to be discussed with us in advance and cannot take place as part of a standard booking.

Yes, both the main house and the apartments are open in every season.

The people who built this place lived with the land, not against it, and that is still true today, so the Lodge and its surroundings have their own kind of magic regardless of when you come.

In summer, the forests and meadows around you are at their fullest, and in the shade of the old trees there is always a place to slow down, while the sandstone walls keep the rooms buildings cool even on hotest days.

In winter, everything is heated properly, and wood and pellet stoves add the kind of warmth and atmosphere that carries you through the darker months.

Whatever time of year you choose, you will have a wonderful stay.

The Oak Lodge is a charming 200-year-old half-timbered house, rich in history and character. Due to its age and traditional architecture, it features uneven floors and distinctive staircases. However, this also means that the property is not wheelchair accessible.
